uses, and protects employee information within the Synapse mobile application
(“the App”). This App is intended exclusively for company employees and is not for public or
consumer use.
By accessing or using Synapse, you acknowledge that this Privacy Policy applies to your use of the
App as part of your employment relationship with Mikrostartech.
1. Purpose of the App
Synapse is an internal company application used for:
- Employee attendance
- Check-in / Check-out
- HR records management
- Payroll and bank details
- Employee documentation
- Company SOP access
- Leave requests and approvals
- Asset management
- Emergency contacts
- Internal announcements and updates
- Other internal administrative and operational functions
The App is strictly for internal use by authorized employees only.
2. Information We Collect
We collect the following employee information to support company operations:
2.1 Login Information
- Company-provided email address
- Password provided or managed by the Company
2.2 Personal Identification
- Full name
- CNIC or National ID
- Date of birth / Age
- Gender
- Contact number
- Emergency contact details
2.3 Employment Details
- Employee ID
- Department
- Position
- Joining date
- Supervisor/Manager information
- Attendance records
- Leave records
- Employment status (active/inactive/resigned)
2.4 Payroll & Banking Information
- Bank account details (for salary payments)
- Salary-related records
2.5 Company Documents
- Uploaded or submitted documents required for HR or operational purposes
- Certificates, verification documents, contracts, etc.
2.6 Company Assets
- List of company-provided assets
- Asset issuance and return history
2.7 App Usage Data
For security and internal operational monitoring, we may collect:
- Device information (model, OS version)
- Login timestamps
- Application interaction logs
No personal device data (contacts, photos, messages, etc.) is accessed.
3. How We Use Employee Information
Information collected inside the Synapse App is used only for legitimate company purposes, including:
- Identity verification and employee login
- Attendance tracking and check-in/out functionality
- Salary processing and payroll management
- HR document management
- Leave applications and approvals
- Providing company SOPs and policies
- Internal communication and announcements
- Managing and tracking company assets
- Security and compliance monitoring
We do not sell, share, or use employee information for advertising or any external purposes.
4. Account Creation and Deletion
4.1 Company-Controlled Accounts
All employee accounts are created, managed, and deleted exclusively by Mikrostartech’s internal
HR/IT department.
4.2 Employees Cannot Delete Their Accounts
Because accounts are part of the employee’s HR records and employment lifecycle:
- Employees cannot delete their accounts through the App.
- Employees cannot request in-app deletion.
4.3 Automatic Account Removal
When an employee leaves the company:
- Access to the App is immediately revoked.
- The account is deactivated and removed from active systems.

Related data is securely archived or deleted according to company HR policies and legal
requirements.
This approach is compliant with Apple and Google rules for workforce-only internal apps.
5. Data Retention
We retain employee data only for:
- The duration of employment
- The period required by law for HR/payroll record retention
- Internal audit and compliance requirements
After this period, data is securely deleted or anonymized.
6. Data Security
We take data protection seriously and use measures such as:
- Encrypted communication
- Secure authentication
- Access control
- Role-based authorizations
- Secure document storage
- Firewall and intrusion prevention systems
Only authorized HR, IT, or management personnel may access employee information.
7. Data Sharing
We do not:
- Sell personal data
- Share employee data with advertisers
- Share data with third parties except when required by law or internal compliance
If third-party services or integrations are used (e.g., cloud hosting, analytics), they operate
under strict confidentiality and security agreements.
8. Employee Rights
Because this App is part of your employment tools, some data rights (like deleting your account)
are controlled by the Company.
You may request:
- Access to your own information
- Correction of inaccurate information
- Clarification about HR data

9. Children’s Privacy
This App is not intended for use by anyone under 18 years old and is restricted to company
employees only.
